Famous freediving star Tanya Streeter did a no limits freedive already some years back that broke the mens world record at that time. Pretty amazing! No limits is the freediving category where you hold your breath, sit on a weighted sled to take you down and hold on a balloon filled with air to take you back up. Yep pretty extreme!

Tom Sietas Having Trouble At 122 Meters Deep

Sunday, October 29th, 2006

German Freediver superstar Tom Sietas, multiple world record holder, tried some time back to make a new no limits record. This is the freediving discipline where you hold your breath, go down with a sled, inflate a balloon and go back up as a rocket. This time inflating the balloon didn’t go as planned and Tom had to wait until the safety diver arrives. Remember, he’s holding his breath at 122 meters deep. Just relaxing and waiting until the help has arrived.

Freediving with Loic Leferme

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

Freediving, the most extreme sport there is… Imagine holding your breath and then going down to 171 meters and returning to the surface after 4 minutes! Your car tire has 2 bars of pressure in it, on 171 meters deep you’ll have more then 18 bars pressure on your body! That’s called no limits freediving! Like it? Watch famous freediving champion Loic Leferme setting a world record at that depth. Does he make it to the surface?

As you may have noticed my own favorite game is freediving. If you want to read more about this great sport go to my shark freediving blog or visit our Team Sharkbait website.
